About the Atlas
Our goal is to build an interactive and living atlas of Ireland's research from all disciplines.
The Research Atlas is intended as a research discovery tool to assist researchers in finding all research relevant to a geographic area. Using a map interface to discover research allows us to remove the constraints and difficulties imposed by language differences, geographical naming differences, disciplinary differences, and citation stream differences.
To do this we invite researchers of all persuasions to add their research to the Atlas - the more comprehensive the data set, the more useful the tool.
You don't need an account to view the Atlas (although there are some limitations). You do need an account to add your research to the Atlas, and we do ask for a subscription fee, because everything costs money.
